Husband and wife team, Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, have been making wine domestically and abroad for over 40 years collectively. While both are engaged as winemakers at Babo and Pooley Wines, respectively, this is their joint venture 'side-hustle' as they like to say. The fruit is sourced from around the Coal River Valley, and the focus is on purity, transparency and sustainability.
The Pinot Noir is fermented and raised in a mixture of conical concrete vessels and used French oak puncheon. Made with 20% whole bunches for an added sense of aromatic lift and complexity.
